Crooked Creek Church Records

Proceedings

Saturday before the third Sabbath in December 1845. The Crooked Creek Church met at their meeting house and after worship proceeded to business.

1st Chose brother Nichols Moderator Protem

2nd invited the church to their seats and invited visiting brethren to seats with us.

3rd opened a door to receive members and received none

4th called for references none

5th by request a letter for Thomas Waldronss was called for and granted

Closed in order Jahue Blyeth, Church Clerk.

1st Invited the Church to their seats and invited visiting brethren to seats with us.

2nd Chose Brother Stephen Rowland Moderator Protem

3rd Opened a door for to receive members and received none.

4th Called for References none.

Closed in order. Jahue Blyeth C Clk

Saturday before the third Sabbath in February 1846. The Church met and being but a few members held no conference.

Saturday before the third Sabbath in March 1846. The Church met Brother Porters and after Divine Service proceeded to business.

1st Chose Brother Rowland Moderator.

2nd Called the Church to their seats.

3rd Invited visiting brethren to seats with us.

4th Opened the door to receive members and received none.

5th Called for references none

6th Motion and second that our Communion Season be at our June meeting and Brother Nichols go to the brethren belonging to Yellville and know of them if they intend living in this church and if they do make it known by May meeting.
