1^st Invited Brethren of Sister Churches to a seat with us.

2^nd Opened a door for the reception of members and received Martha Ingram, John Martin, Angus Ross, Washington Giles, by experience and Mary Cole by letter.

Saturday before the third Sabbath in December 1842. The United Baptist Church of Christ on Crooked Creek met at Brother Guyn Porters and after worship proceeded to business.

1^st Appointed Brother Rowland Moderator Protem

2^nd Invited Brethren of sister churches to seats with us.

3^rd Opened a door for the reception of members and received Francis Martin by letter.

4^th The Church took up a charge against Brother L B Deaton for joining another denomination of people not of our Faith. An order and appointed Bros Nichols and Gaither a committee to go and talk with him and report to our next meeting.

5^th Our next meeting be at B Gaithers.

The Saturday Before the third Sabbath in January 1843. The Crooked Creek Church met at Brother Beal Gaithers and after worship proceeded to business.

1^st Chose Bro Nichols Moderator protem

2^nd Invited brethren of sister Churches to seats with us.

3^rd Opened a door for the reception of members and received none.

4^th Reference of L B Deaton taken up and excluded from our fellowship.

5^th Church agreed to write a separate letter for sister Deaton and appointed Bro Ross and Bro Huff to bear said letter to Sister Deaton and obtain the joint letter.

6^th The church took up the case of Sister Martha Shirley for Uniting herself with another Denomination of people not of our faith and order and excluded for the same.

7^th Request made by Sister Smith be referred till our next meeting.

8^th Our next meeting to be at Brother Gaithers.

9^th Sunday Sister Lavina Cole and G W Cole applied for letter of Dismission and granted. Beal Gaither, Ch Clk
