July 24th 1841

A committee of the Crooked Creek Church met at Hiram Hulseys on Long Creek and after devine service opened a door to receive members and received G B Deaton and Chrisiana Deaton by experience on the 25th Opened a door and received William Martin by experience and Matthew Shipman and ???? Shipman by letter. Geo W Baines, Mod.

Saturday before the third Sabbath in July 1841

The church met and after worship proceeded to business

1st invited brethren of sister churches to a seat with us.

2nd Opened door for the reception of members and received none

3rd petition for another church letter of dismission for the following brethren Enoch C. Simmons, Sarah Simmons, Hiram Daniel, Martha Daniel, David Daniel, Sarah Daniel and Martha Gaither(?) also requested the ministerial aid and assistance of their deacons to attend and assist in the constitution of a church to commence Saturday before the first Sabbath in August 1841 at the house of Enoch C. Simmons, Carroll Co, Arkansas
