After devine service the church sat in conference Brother Baines Moderator

1^st opened a door to receive members Ashir Harden, Rhoda Harden by letter (Notes: Ashir and Rhoda asked to be given a letter in September 1839 from this church, see above minutes)

2^nd on motion resolved that the assistant clerk be at liberty to call on any brethren to assist him in writing.

3^rd on motion resolved that this church bear the title United and hereafter send her letters out with this title.

4^th ordered that brother Simmons credentials to be recorded in our church book

2^nd Opened a door to receive members and received brother Thomas Snelson and sister Sintha Snelson his wife by letter also sister Lucinda Parker by letter

3^rd took up the subject of appointing a clerk and appointed brother Nichols and Brumbellows a committee to visit brother Marshal and converse with him on the subject and report next meeting.
