Proceedings

 

Third Saturday in August 1834 the church met in conference and after prayer proceeded to business.

1st Inquired for fellowship.

2nd Opened a door for reception of members and received the following by experience. Viz Lucy Cheatham, Elizabeth Marshall, Mary Ann Cheatham and Rachel Porter by letter Constituted in the Church.

3rd The Church agrees to send a petition any letter and one dollar to the association to be held on War Eagle in Washington County.

4th Appointed brother Samuel Bristow to bear our presents to the association

5th The Church agrees to be called Crooked Creek Church
