"James Moore, Quaker, was residing on an extended estate in the townland of Ballinacree, Parish of Ballymoney, County Antrim, Ireland, as early as 1675. According to tradition, the Moores came to Ireland from Cumberland England, during the Plantations of James I."

After second marriage to Lydia, daughter of John and Hannah (Saunders) Minshall, of Sadsbury. He settled on a portion of his father's farm where both he and Lydia later died. Both interred at FBG at Sadsbury.
