Peter served in the Revolutionary War as a Private in Captain F. Coon's company, Lt. Col. Kerns regimemt. He, his wife, son, Nicholas and his wife are all buried in the old Towamensing Burying Groun attaached to the Old Towamensing Lutheran Church near Seliegh Gap, Carbon County Pennsylvania.
