Enoch Autrey to Cornelius AutreyENOCH AUTERY & OTHERS TO CORNELIUS AUTERY 1770-1847 2 AUGUST 1833 St. Clair County, Alabama Estate Record Book B, Page 143 This Indenture made the Second day of August in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three between Enoch Autery, James Autery and George Autery of the first part and Cornelius Autery of the second part. Witnesseth that the party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of $300.00 to them in hand paid before the ensealing and delivering of these presents by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever the following tract or parcel of land know and designated as follows (viz) the South east part of fractional Section 13, Township 14, of Range 5 East in the District of Huntsville and State of Alabama together with all and singular the tenements and appertenances thereto belonging or in anywise belonging and also all the estate right and titles, interest, claims or demands whatsoever of the said parties of the first part either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises and every part and parcel thereof to have and to hold to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said party of the first part for this heirs, executors and administrators do hereby warrant and will forever defend the title of the above bargained premises to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns free from claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever as also from the general government in testimony whereof the aforesaid parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands, affixed their seals the day and year above written.
