Absalom and Elizabeth Autrey and Their Descendants, With a Section on Thomas Norrisby Jeanne McDuff Murphy and Jo Lyon Autrey CHAPTER IIIAlbert H. and Sarah E. (Autrey) Neighbors Sarah E. Autrey, first child of Absalom and Elizabeth (Norris) Autrey, was born 17 August 1827 in Perry County, Alabama. She married Albert H. Neighbors on 23 December, 1844 in Perry County, Alabama. He was born in Kentucky in about 1820. He was a cabinet maker and farmer. They moved to Union Parish, Louisiana in 1849 and by 1870 Sarah and Albert Neighbors had moved to Bowie County, Texas. Sarah and Albert Neighbors had eleven children: Elizabeth, Julia A., Jane, Independence, William A., Harriet, Mary R., Sarah, James, Adella W. and Missie B. E.
