Sarah E. Autrey
1827 - Born in Perry County, Ala.
married Albert H. Neighbors in 1844.
They moved to Union Parish, La. in
1848, and by 1870, Sarah and Albert had moved to Bowie County, Texas.
Sarah and Albert had eleven children. (Chapter III, pages 12-13)
Please contact me if you have any knowledge of this family as very little
information is known of them.

John Mabe Autrey
1828 - Born in Perry Co. Ala.
married Dianacy A. Wallace in 1851 in Union Parish, La., and they had eleven
children. No known records for the death of John Mabe Autrey, but Dianacy
was buried in Waco, Park Lawn Cemetery, McLennan County, Texas. (Chapter IV,
pages 14 - 30)

Lucinda Autrey
1829 - 1901- Born in Perry County, Ala.
first
married John Brown L. Mitchell in 1847 in Perry Co. Ala., they moved to Union
Parish with Lucinda's family in 1847, they had 12 children. John Brown L.
Mitchell died in 1879.
Lucinda then married Isaac N. Carlisle 8h
1885 in Lincoln Parish, La. Lucinda died in 1901 and was buried in the
Henry Cemetery in Hico, La. as was John Brown l. Mitchell. (Chapter V,
pages 31- 41)

Harriett Autrey
1830 - 1858 - Born in Perry Co., Ala.
she first married Joseph N. Wiley in 1847 in Perry County. They were
married by Rev. Robert Martin, a Baptist Minister. They moved to Louisiana
with the Autrey and Norris family in 1847, where Joseph Wiley was a
farmer. They had three children, and Joseph died in 1852. He was the
first to be buried in the Autrey Family Cemetery behind the Autrey Home in
Dubach, Lincoln Parish, La. Harriett then married William Jackson Field in
1854, they had no children. After Harriett's death, William married
Harriett's sister, Celia Autrey. (Chapter VI, pages 42 - 43, not much
information is available on this family, if you can help, please contact me.)

Elizabeth Jane "Betsy"
Autrey
1832 - 1915 - Born in Perry
Co., Ala.
married Silas
Marion Fuller in 1850 in Union Parish, La., they had fourteen children.
Silas died in 1912 and Betsy died in 1915, both are buried in the Henry
Cemetery, Hico, Lincoln Parish, La. (Chapter VII, pages 45 - 65)

William Norris Autrey
1833 - 1918 - Born in Perry Co., Ala.
married
Rebecca Henry in 1852 in
Union Parish, La., they had six children. He died in 1918. (Chapter
VIII, pages 66 - 72)

Cornelius "Chick"
Autrey
1835 - 1894 Born in Perry Co.,
Ala.
married Arminda
Penelope Brown in 1868, they had three children, moved to Gatesville,
Coryell County, Texas in in 1871. He died in 1895 and Arminda died in
1915. Both are buried in the Friendship Cemetery, Gatesville, Coryell
County, Texas. (Chapter IX, pages 73 - 75) There is not much information
on this family, please contact me if you can add to this family.)

James Jackson Autrey
1837 - 1863 Born in Perry Co., Ala.
James Jackson Autrey never
married, was listed as a school teacher in the 1860 Union Parish, La. US
Census. He enlisted in the Confederate Army 1861, was captured by the
enemy and was received at Aiken's Landing and exchanged Sept. 1862. He
died of an unknown disease in 1863 in Mt. Jackson, Virginia. (Chapter X, pages
76 - 77)

Celia J. Autrey
1838 - 1906 Born in Perry County, Ala.
married William Jackson Field about 1858 in Louisiana, they had six
children. William Jackson Field had been the second husband of Celia's
sister, Harriett Autrey. Celia died in 1908 and William died in 1906, both were
buried in the Arcadia Cemetery at Arcadia, La. (Chapter XI, pages 78- 93)

Robert Martin Autrey
1840 - 1919 - Born in Perry Co., Al
married
first wife Elizabeth Kemp, in Dubach, Lincoln Parish, La., they had 5 children
in Bowie County, Texas. Robert Martin then married Sara Jane
Scarborough,
they had four children. Robert Martin died in 1919, Elizabeth died in
1879, and Sara Jane died in 1947. (Chapter XII, pages 94 - 112)

Syria S. Autrey
1842 - 1864 Syria was born in Perry Co. Ala.
never married. He enlisted in the Confederate Army in 1861 at Monroe, La.,
he died of a hand wound in 1864 in Richmond, Va. (Chapter XIII, pages 113-114)

Perry Co., Ala.
married Abraham Reed in 1783 in Lincoln Parish, La., moved
to Texas. Martha and Abraham Reed had six children. (Chapter XIV,
pages 115 - 117)

1845 - 1924 Born in Perry Co., Ala.
married first
Cynthia
Elizabeth Heard in 1865, they had nine children. Thomas then married Mary
Henrietta "Mollie" Oliver Wise in 1885, they had five children.

Perry County, Ala.
married first to Georgia Ann Moncrief, they had seven
children. He then married Mrs. Olevia "Levy" Hughes, they moved
to Coryell County, Texas in 1892. They had no children. (Chapter XVI,
pages 131 - 137)

Charles Henry Autrey
1850 - 1917 Charles was the only child to be
born in the new home in Dubach, Lincoln Parish La. He first married Mary
Jane "Dolly" Moncrief, they had four children. Charles then
married Willie Joanna Michael, they had four children. (Chapter
XVII,
pages 138 - 157)
