Activities1965 HomecomingArlene Hunt, a Senior, reigned as Queen over the 1965 Homecoming celebration held on Friday, October 15. Accompanying her were Elizabeth Hendrix, 1st runner-up, and Sue Wood, second runner-up. The Queen and her runners-up were derived by popular vote from a choice of nine candidates, three girls from each classification. The girls were escorted onto Pleasant Grove Field by Mike Dunagan and Doug Stanglin. Here, during the halftime, Arlene was crowned by Mr. Fite and last year's queen, Beletta Culp. After the game with Hillcrest, a dance was held in the girl's gym in honor of the Queen and her Court. Fall Activities DanceThe termination of football season resulted in the crowning of "Miss Apache", Elizabeth Hendrix, at the annual Fall Activities Dance.
