Is Victim of Pneumonia; Survived by Widow and Four Sons
Raymond R. Livermore, 63 years old and a resident of Hudson for nearly forty years, died at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon, May 8, at the Lakeview Memorial Hospital, Stillwater, after an illness of nine days. Death was due to pneumonia.
Mr. Livermore was born on July 12, 1880, at Altoona, Wis., the son of the late Dexter and Elizabeth (Hancock) Livermore. When he was about three years old, the family moved to Augusta, Wis., and later to Fairchild, Wis.
He was married to Dorritt Rouse at Fairchild on February 18, 1902. Two years later he and his wife and son, Gordon, moved to Hudson and this city remained his home until death. For the past several years he had been employed at the Omaha car shops here.
Recognized as one of Hudson's most proficient trout anglers, Mr. Livermore was a lover of the outdoors. His recreation consisted of hunting, fishing and gardening. His favorite trout stream was the Willow River and he was familiar with every foot of this famous fishing water. His untimely death came as a shock to his many friends as well as to the members of his family.
Besides his widow, he is survived by four sons, Capt. Gordon Livermore, now with the U. S. Army in India, Cpl. Jack Livermore, with the U. S. Army in the South Pacific, Donovan Livermore of St. Paul, and Raymond Livermore of Hudson.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, May 10, at the Trieb Funeral Home, Rev. Hugh H. Owen officiating. Interment was in the Willow River cemetery. The pall-bearers were Henry Olson, Alfred Arntson, Ed Riedel, Frank Heckel, Merton Ball and Ernest Erickson.

Dorritt was born 5, 6, 7, 8 on 1 May 1882 in Augusta, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She died 9, 10, 11 on 17 Dec 1944 in St. Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota and was buried 12, 13 on 19 Dec 1944 in Willow River Cemetery, Hudson, St. Croix, Wisconsin.
Dorritt last resided at 632 Earl Street in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Fell in St. Paul Friday; Died Early Sunday; Funeral Held Wednesday
In a pre-Christmas tragedy, Mrs. R. R. Livermore, widow of the late Raymond R. Livermore, died at 2:15 o'clock Sunday morning at Ancker hospital, St. Paul, from injuries in a fall on the pavement at Sixth and Earl street, St. Paul, last Friday evening. Mrs. Livermore, who had been living with her son, Donovan, and family in St. Paul for the past month, had just alighted from a bus and was crossing the street when she noticed a car approaching her. Alarmed over the approaching car, she started to run and fell forcibly on her face. She regained consciousness and was taken to the hospital where she died early Sunday of spinal injuries.
Mrs. Livermore, whose maiden name was Dorritt Rouse, was born in Augusta, Wis., on May 1, 1882, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Van Tyle Rouse. The family moved to Barron and later to Fairchild, Wis. where she was married to Mr. Livermore on February 18, 1902. One son, Gordon, was born in Fairchild. In 1907, the family moved to Hudson where three more sons were born - Donovan, Raymond and Jack. Mrs. Livermore was a resident of Hudson for over 37 years. Mr. Livermore died in Hudson in May of this year.
She is survived by her four sons, Capt. Gordon Livermore, now in India, Donovan of St. Paul, Raymond of Hudson, and Corporal Jack Livermore, in the South Pacific; and one sister, Mrs. Frank Hilts of Augusta, Wis.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Trieb Funeral Home, Rev. G. Daniel Wood of the Baptist church, officiating. Miss Betty Hughes sang during the services. Interment was in the family lot in Willow River cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Donovan G. Livermore, 30, were held on Thursday afternoon, June 15, at 4 p.m. at the Trieb Funeral Home in Hudson. The Rev. Albert Utzman of St. Paul, read the service. The music for the rites was furnished by Miss Elizabeth Currer, St. Paul, who sang several selections accompanied by Mrs. Louis Shock of St. Paul. Interment was in the family lot in Willow River Cemetery. The pall bearers were Jack Mullen, Clifford Noreen and Forrest Rossing of Hudson and Sherwin Solheim, Clifford Stapf and Glen Fleischauer of St. Paul.
Helen Mildred Bentzinger was born in Primrose, Iowa in 1914, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. A. Bentzinger and was graduated from the high school at Sheldon, N.D. Following a nurses training course at Ancker Hospital, St. Paul, she was employed there for three years. When she resigned there in 1937, she was assistant supervisor of the receiving room. She was married in Hudson on September 6, 1936 to Donovan G. Livermore, the son of Mrs. Ray R. Livermore and the late Mr. Livermore. She passed away at the Ancker Hospital, St. Paul, on Monday, June 12, following a year's illness.
Survivors in addition to her husband include one son, Gerald Russell Livermore, 6; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Bentzinger, Bonaparte, Iowa; and two sisters: Mrs. Evelyn B. Collisson, Keokuk, Ia., and Miss Arline Bentzinger, Ottumwa, Ia.Donavan also married 2 (2) Gladys Baker 1, daughter of Theodore S. Baker and Mabel M. Treloar, on 4 Mar 1945 in Durand, Wisconsin. Gladys was born 3 on 13 May 1905 in Hudson, St. Croix, Wisconsin. She died 4 on 2 Nov 1999 in Rogers, Arkansas and was buried 5 on 5 Nov 1999 in Benton County Memorial Park, Arkansas.

Gladys Lorene Abas, 94, of Rogers, Ark., and formerly of Hudson, died Tuesday, Nov. 2 at St. Mary Rogers Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 13, 1905, in Hudson, the daughter of Theodore S. and Mabel M. (Treloar) Baker and was a graduate of Hudson High School in the class of 1924.
On March 4, 1945, in Durand, she was married to Donovan G. Livermore of Hudson. She taught school for 20 years.
In 1954, she and her husband moved from St. Paul to the Rogers, Ark., area where she was active in the Baha'i Faith Assembly and served as corresponding secretary for 30 years.
She is survived by a stepson, Russell Livermore of Palm Bay, Fla.; two sisters, Ruth Albrecht of Rogers, and Blanche (Elmer) Smith of Hudson; a nephew, Nahdean Albrecht of Rogers.
Preceding her in death were her two husbands, Donovan Livermore in 1983 and Gerald Abas in 1998.
