Received a disability discharge on 10 December 1862Josephus appears to be in the 1870 census as "T J Livermore", though this could be "F J Livermore". This would be his reversed initials. There is a Foster J. Livermore in the 1890 veterans census for Bridge Creek. His wife is Elizabeth, which matches the Civil War pension records. He was a farmer living in Bridge Creek Township, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin.
Josephus was issued a land grant of 80 acres in 1869, and again in 1874, in Eau Claire County.
