PURPOSE:

This is a home page for family lines done from a labor of love. The genealogy research began in early 1981 when my Father and Mother wanted to know more about their family history. I started with the names of my great grandfather and mother. I would like to solicit all your help in making this a family site of cousins working together and getting to know each other.

PROJECT:

There is so much information on how to do research and more will be added as time permits. For most people, getting started on their family genealogy is a daunting task. " WHERE do I start" is the most common question that a new researcher asks. Most people have NO idea how to even begin to research their family tree. The purpose of these pages is to make getting started a lot simpler and to answer the questions of what to do first and how to do it. Here you will also find some more advanced advice and links to sites that can help with more specialized research. So, once you get started, you know where to go next. Hopefully the information on these pages can help even the seasoned researcher with some hints and links to sites that will help get over the inevitable brick walls that we all hit.
