My
name is Wendy and I began learning about HTML and web site creation
when my husband, Jeff, suggested we have our own home page.
That was December 1999. I moved forward with the idea and
because my hobby is genealogy, the pages are focused mostly on
that endeavor.
Hopefully, in the future, our content will expand to include some pages that Jeff designs.
Jeff and I met at Indiana University of
Pennsylvania (IUP). We were both Computer Science majors.
I graduated with my B.S. in 1989 and Jeff in 1990. Jeff is now an IT
manager at a large manufacturing company and I am a homemaker and
full-time mommy. I was a computer systems analyst for a
manufacturing company for six years before our first child was born.
Leaving the rat race to be with my children is one of the best decisions I
have ever made!
Our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the bedrock of our life.
Without Him life has no meaning or hope. We attend New
Song Community Church and are quite involved in various ministries
there. We have also discovered some great Christian conferences that
are lots of fun and really help to keep us focused on what is really
important in life. Jeff has been attending the Promise
Keepers conferences with men from our church since
1994. In 1999 I attended my first Women
of Faith conference in Pittsburgh. In 2000 I went with a
small group to the WOF conference in Buffalo. We took our 2001 trip
to Columbus.
That is just a little about us. When I visit a personal web site, I am often
curious about the people behind it and like to read these "about
us/me" type of pages. Please sign our
guestbook and share how you found us and say "Hi!"
Also, include your web address, if you have one, so I can visit you too!
