Elsie was born at KS on November 4, 1882.

She was listed as a daughter in Robert Henry Dihle's household on the 1900 Census at 187 Eighth Street, Salina, Saline Co, KS. She was in school.

She graduated from high school at Salina High School, Salina, Saline Co, KS, on May 24, 1901. The twenty- fourth annual commencement of the Salina High School was held at the Opera House, Friday evening, May 24th, 1901 at 8:00 o'clock. Elsie Dihle spoke on "Imperialism of Rome." The Baccalaureate sermon was given Sunday evening, May 19th, by Rev. C. E. Wirick.

She married Benjamin Allen Strickler on November 27, 1902.

She resided at Beaumont, TX, on May 19, 1903.

Elsie was listed in a city directory at 139 N. 8th, Salina, Saline Co, KS, in 1904. Phone 332.

Elsie was a Ladies of the GAR member at Salina, Saline Co, KS, circa 1910. Col. Phillips Circle, No 118, Ladies of the GAR, Department of Kansas.

She and Benjamin Allen Strickler appeared on the census of 1915 at Salina, Saline Co, KS.
