Lydia McInvale (a widow born in N.C. aged 57 1860 Taylor Co Census) is living in the household of Wilborn Jinks and his wife, Elizabeth (aged 50).
In same household is Elizabeth McInvale aged 16.
The parents of Lydia Reaves were Stephen Reaves B. 8 March 1772 D. 22 November 1830 in Talbot County, Georgia, and his wife was Sarah Flowers B 21 September 1777,D. 8 September 1843 in Talbot County. (came from Charles G.Bentley Bible)

Stephen had a Will in Talbot County.
John and Lydia's children were:
Nancy 1832, John Marion 1838, m. Caroline Culverhouse 25 July 1859, he died in Cold Harbor, Virginia CSA, Elizabeth 1844, William Henry 1829, m. Ellen O. Lawson 11 May 1848, Talbot County.
Lydia is shown as a member of Horeb Primitive Baptist Church in South Talbot County, but is reported to be buried across the road from Antioch Primitive Baptist Church in North Taylor County.
John McInvale had a brother, Robert b.1801 who married Mary Phillips 30 Augusr 1825 in Jones County, Ga. d. 29 June 1853. Will probated book 1 page 827 Houston County.
Their children were; William B. 1832, James B. 1828, Mary Frances 1834, Emily Caroline 1836.
My great-great-greatgrandfather was also named William Henry. I know that James and my William Henry were brothers. He had to be in this family, because in the Scotch order of naming children, he is probably named for his grandfather, or his brother. Another reason I named him, is that he was in Talbot County with the rest of the family. Go to the 1840 census and count John's dependents. Most of this information, I received from the John Marion McInvale family. The one that I worked with, has sense been transferred to another city. In case you don't know, they were in Franklin County, N.C. before they came to Georgia.

Rachel Lawrence Wells is no relation that of I know of to the Jinks family unless they were cousins. Rachel is the daughter of Britton Lawrence (died ca 1842 in Crawford Co., GA) and his wife Jane B. Lawson died ca 1839). This couple left five children as orphans. James Madison Lawrence shows up in 1850 living with Wilburn Jinks and his wife Elizabeth Reeves. Sarah Ann Lawrence married in 1848 to John T. Blow. Thomas is unaccounted for in 1850. Rachel and brother William Lawrence are living with Marshall P. Brown in 1850.
Rachel married Tavener Wells in 1853. They are not found in 1860. In 1870, Rachel Wells is living next door to Wilburn and Elizabeth. In 1880, Rachel Lawrence is living with Wilburn and his second wife (nee Culverhouse). She was dead by 1900 like Wilburn so I thought it was likely that they were buried in the same graveyard. The Culverhouse family were also neighbors.
The Lawsons, Reeves, and Buckners are all tangled up with the Lawrences through various marriages. The census records of Talbot and Taylor show them as neighbors.
Stephen Reeves is probable father of Elizabeth (Betsey) Reeves who married Wiburn Jinks. He is probable grandfather of Thomas Jefferson Reeves who married Mary Buckner (daughter of Wiley and Judith Buckner)
James Madison Lawrence (son of Britton Lawrence and Jane B. Lawson) married Elizabeth Frances Buckner (daughter of Micajah and Ruth, Grandaughter of Wiley and Judith) His daughter Lou Lawrence married Edward Lafayette Thomas Reeves, son of Thomas Jefferson Reeves and Mary Buckner.
Sarah Ann Elizabeth Lawson (daughter of David Lawson) married Marshall Patrick Brown. Rachel Lawrence was living with them in 1850 and David Lawson/Marshall P. Brown were guardians of Tavener Wells' children from his first marriage in the early 1850's. Rachel married Tavemer Wells in 1853. David Lawson may be a brother of Jane B. Lawson.
The marriage record for William B. Brazell and Eliza Jinks is at the GA GenWeb go to Archives, put Brazell and Jinks in Query and on the Bride Index and Groom Indez of Campbell Co. GA shows they were married October 31, 1838 Another entry for the Query was Brazell appeared in the 1850 Randolf Co. census and on the same census there was a Jinks family. This info might help. I've just been getting into the Archives and found lots of information, but have to put in the various Braswell spellings. I think my grandfather was right in that the family didn't spell their names the same from census year to census year.
Also found something interesting along these lines in the records of the 1827 Land Lottery - Fortunate Drawers from Upson Co, April 21, 1827: Tomme, Othiel W. 589th LL100-Section 15, Muscogee, with the notation that this land was in Taylor Co. owned by Wilborn Jinks later. Drawing of March 17, 1827 shows: Brazel, Anson, from Capt. Cooper's District in Upson Co. receive LL132, Section 6 in Lee Co.
