1850 Census Butts County GA
John Jinks 65 with wife Elizabeth 65, both b NC, John listed as insane. I found a webpage indicating John and Elizabeth are the parents of Spencer Jinks, who you have listed.
Next door to John is Thomas Jinks, 36, with wife and family; Thomas also b NC and listed a farmer (although only John has property value listed).
On the opposite side of John Jinks is John Grantham with wife Nancy (38 b NC) and family; I think Nancy is likely John Jinks' daughter (she also is my gg-grandmother). On previous page (333-A) is a James Jenks, single, 22 b GA living with 3 Malone's.
John and James/Hames Jinks are not listed in Ancestry.com's 1850 census index under either Jinks or Jenks.

J. G. Jinks, brother of the lamented B. J. Jinks for many years surveyor of this county is dead. About a year since Mr. Jinks with his family went down to Dublin where he entered in business and was steadily prospering.
On last Friday evening he went across the street to a neighbors house and became engaged in a pleasant conversation and about this time he received a severe stroke of paralysis and fell from his chair dead. He was carried home and from there the remains were brought to Jackson on Saturday and interred at the cemetery on Sunday at 2 p.m. Rev. W. M. Winn officiating at the grave.
