POOL Side
Home Page
Thank you for visiting.  This POOL Side web site is maintained by Jim Pool and is dedicated to providing the genealogy of the POOL relations, source documents, and related history.  Please see the Tombstone Project for expanded details.
This web site is divided into the following major sections, each with an index and sub-sections:
The POOL Side site currently totals over 2000 web pages (some are not yet loaded in this domain).  Pages are being converted from Table layout to division/CSS layout and set to conform to HTML 4.01 and CSS 2.1 strict standards.  Please use the links at the top of nearly every page to access the major section indexes and thereby the entire web site or access the Site Map page.  Please note that all RootsWeb information, pages, and my research are FREE to access and use.

Surfing - Please enjoy your surfing here.  A CD version is available by contacting me.  If you are surfing from a CD, the RootsWeb links will take you to the internet posted pages, so please use your "Back" button to return to the CD.

Graphics - The pages herein are nearly free of graphics so they will load faster, take less space, and make your time more productive.  Pictures are used in the Tombstone and Image Projects.

Cookies - The use of cookies will be announced before they are executed (no cookies are currently being used or even planned).  For complete navigation flexibility and enjoyment, your web browser should enable JavaScript and your monitor should be set to at least 1024 x 768.

JavaScript is used sparingly for doing calculations, displaying content, and accepting passwords.  A warning will appear if it is not available on a page or section where needed.  JavaScript methods are discussed in the Library Project.  Some methods are no longer used.

Contributions (not dollars) - Your suggestions, comments, contributions and corrections are welcomed.  I am always looking for new and interesting items and methods to include as well as corrections and additions to the cousins of the POOL's of Wisconsin.  Contributors are acknowledged throughout.

Copyright - Although all of the page content, including HTML code, programs, and JavaScript, are © Copyright by Jim Pool, the contents and ideas remain free for your use or reference for non-profit purposes provided you acknowledge Jim Pool and this web site as your source.
