2. Isaac2 Gillbanks (Isaac1 Gillbanks) (#3). Isaac was baptized at St.Luke`s, Torver, Lancashire, England, 4 April 1732. Religion: Anglican.

He married Agnes Carter in 1752 at Millom using the surname Bancks.(Agnes is #4.)Agnes was the daughter of William Carter of Seathwaite. Agnes died May 1803 and her body was interred 21 May 1803 in St. Cuthbert's Churchyard, Beckside, Lancashire, England.

Isaac died July 1798 and his body was interred 31 July 1798 in St. Cuthbert's Churchyard, Beckside, Kirkby in Furness, Lancashire, England.

Isaac Gillbanks and Agnes had the following children who were all Baptised as Banks, and who all later used the two names as it suited them.

child 9 iv. William Gillbanks (#25) was born, 1764 at Southergate, Kirkby Ireleth, Lancashire. William died November 1828 in Abbot Ridding, Parish of Coulton, at 64 years of age from Tuberculosis. His body was interred 2 December 1828 St. Cuthbert Churchyard, Beckside, Kirkby in Furness,Lancashire,England.
