John Roberts and his family made their permanent home in Roxbury, MA, where his children were reared. We have no birth, marriage, or death records for most of the children; except it is known that Jenet Roberts married Robert Starkweather, another Welshman, in Roxbury MA, about 1642; and that John Roberts in 1651 gave certain properties including a house and lands in both Roxbury & Boston MA to Robert Starkweather.
John Roberts was made a "Freeman" on 22 May 1639 in Roxbury, MA. John Roberts had a brother Samuel R. Roberts who settled in Salisbury MA. Samuel Roberts died in Salisbury on 22 Sep 1655. A list of debts filed after his death, mention 2 months wages on the ship “Goodfellow.”
