In Section 13, Range 16W, Township 38N. On the Bill Davis homestead, now owned by Jesse Franklin. At one time this has been a beautiful burial plot. Today you would not know it had a grave on the knoll unless some one showed you where it was. Was told by Mr. Franklin more than a hundred are buried there, including two rows of graves of negro slaves, belonged to Foster, Davis and Dodson. Eitht tombstones were found, each broken down, laying flat. Buckbrush, dead limbs and logs and high weeds cover the area. Cattle use the area for shade.
