This deer (above two photos) and remains of others below, were dumped in the ditch just a few yards from an outfitters hunting barn and the Gholson Cemetery. The deer above appears to only have the legs removed. They were discovered October 6, 2007 covered with flies and the stench was terrible. Notice the road in upper left corner of photo. The hunter's building is just a few yards south of the Gholson Cemetery. One fourth mile south of the Gholson Cemetery was a large pile of intestines in the middle of the road covered with flies. After checking with the Department of Natural Resorces they said this is against the law which requires them to be buried. The number for the region given us to call (618-435-8138 Ext-124) about this did not return our call.
