Only identified grave is that of Perry Williams. On Morgan Mill Road, at 1/10 of a mile past Justin Braswell Road, you turn right into Mr. Eubanks driveway at 6708 Morgan Mill Road. Just past his home there is a little fork in the drive and the grave is in the V of the driveway. There is a very old stone obelisk which has been knocked off the base but it clearly says “Williams” on it. There is a more recent flat grave marker that identifies the grave as
“Perry Williams,
Co F 48 NC INF Confederate States Army,
Aug 3, 1831 – 3/12/1899.”

There is a hole next to the old marker, (almost like a tree stump rotten away leaving a hole) that had a small flat stone about 12” by 18 or 20” in it but I couldn’t see any writing on it and it was buried too deeply in the ground to move. The stone obelisk was covered in lichen and I could not see if it had any given names on it.
