SHORT |
I live in Indiana and my father was T. Lee Short, the second of nine children of
Thomas M. Short (1880-1977) and
Annie Mae Smith (1883-1983) who
lived in the Weddington area. Thomas M. Short
was a son of Minor Jackson Short
(1837-1931) who was a Confederate Civil War veteran. They all are buried at
the Weddington United Methodist Church. My inquiry is about Minor Jackson Short's father John Short who was in the 1850 census in
the Sandy Ridge area of Union County and he was 43 at the time. I have not
been able to find where he was buried
or who his parents were. I believe he died between 1850 and 1860 in this
area. Could you help me with this? |
