From Monroe take Hwy 74 East-Just past the Peachland City Limit sign.

The cemetery is behind a split level house on the right. 

Cemetery can be seen from the highway.  Well kept.

[1] -Other sources show his middle initial as G. (Benjamin G. High)

 

[2] -His death certificate registered in Charlotte, Mecklenburg Co, NC states that he was born Apr 1, 1890 and died May 13, 1927. He died at Presbyterian Hospital, but was a resident of Peachland.

 

[3] - Mrs. Sarah A. High passed away at her home in Peachland last Saturday (June 18, 1938) after an illness of several years duration. Mrs. High was born July 15, 1866 and was therefore in her 72nd year. She had spent her entire life in the Peachland community. She is survived by three sons, Jesse, Norfleet, and Lonnie, all of Peachland and two brothers, Mr. Fulton Preslar of Polkton and Mr. Will Preslar of the Oak Dell community. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held from the home Sunday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. E.M. Brooks. Interment followed in the family cemetery near the homestead. Mrs. High was a kind neighbor and friend and was highly esteemed by all who knew her.
