Garden Ground Coal Mine

This is a photo of the Garden Ground Coal Mine, day shift. My grandfather, Johnie Jewell, is in the second picture, standing on the right. He has a jacket on over his overalls. His nephew, Carl Jewell is to his right and has on a dark shirt, dark pants and suspenders. Carl's father, Willie (or Bill) Jewell is in front on them.
