Cricket Maynor

This is a picture of John "Cricket" Maynor at a hunting camp in Richwood. He is holding squirrels. Cricket was my great-grandmother's brother. He never married. Cricket would fit glasses for the community, until he almost got in trouble, since he was not a doctor. But he had many satisfied customers. He had a glass eye and it is thought that he lost his eye in an accident with a gun. Cricket seemed to always dress up in a suit, tie and hat. As you can see, even when he was hunting!
