Rev. Mullins died Monday in Chelan
The Rev. Berlon Mullins, a minister of the Assembly of God Church, died Monday, April 23, in Chelan.
Rev. Mullins was born December 9, 1920, in Booneville, Arkansas, and moved to Arizona with his parents. He was married to Loretta Owens at Mesa, Arizona, May 28, 1943.
A skilled carpenter, his pastorates included churches that he built at Sedonia, Superior, and Scottsdale, Arizona. He also started the Assembly of God Church in Spokane, coming here in 1953.
Surviving are his wife Loretta, one daughter, Burlene, and one son, Lonny; also his father, Arthur Franklin Mullins of Manson, and mother, Mary Dene Mullins of Arizona; and one brother, Bill Wade Mullins of Eugene, Oregon.
Memorial services for Rev. Mullins are being held today,
Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, in the Assembly of God Church with the Rev.
C. M. Kruse officiating and Cliff Phillips assisting. Interment will be in
the Fraternal Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home is in charge.
