"HARRISON ROWLAND -- Harrison W. Rowland, 63, died Tuesday at Yuma Regional Medical Center. Born Feb 17, 1912, at Liberty, Ark., he was an electronics technician and resided at Martinez Lake. He was a veteran of World War II. Arrangements are pending at Kammann Mortuary."

"MIDA ONGIE REINE-FEIL --  Funeral services for Mida Ongie Reine-Feil, of Ukiah, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Eversole Mortuary.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.,Wednesday at the Eversole Mortuary. Burial will be at Ukiah cemetery. Mrs. Reine-Feil died at her home on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001. She was 85. She was born March 10, 1916, in Story, Ark. and had been a resident of the area for the last 39 years. She was a sales clerk for JC Penney and Sears, and a Realtor at Mathews. She married John K. Linbarger III in 1935; Herman J. Reine in 1961; and James R. Feil in 1985. Accomplishments she was most proud of include being a Chamber of Commerce ambassador, and a member of the Civic Air Patrol - Santa Rosa. She was also a member of the Ukiah Garden Club, the Ukiah Art Association, the Emblem Club, the Ukiah Senior Center, Telephone Pioneers, “Hoity Toity Group,” and Community Concert. She was an avid fisher, hunter, dancer and entertainer. Mida was handed down her grandmother’s Cherokee Indian card. Mrs. Reine-Feil was also an ambulance driver during World War II for the Red Cross. She will be remembered for her “love of life and family.” Her favorite quote was “I love you.” Her spiritual affiliation was the Christian church. She is survived by her daughter, Dana Gwen Caples, of Ukiah; son, John Kenneth Linbarger IV, of Santa Rosa; brothers, Cecil Rowland, of Folsom, and Daniel Rowland, of Benicia; grandchildren, William Bradley Caples, of Santa Rosa, Gregory Allen Caples, of Oroville, Julie Lynn Winchester, of Philo, Jamie Rene Honsvick, of Red Bluff, Lolita Christine Peter, of Windsor, Jennifer Loraine Grimm, of Dixon, John Kenneth Linbarger V, of Santa Rosa; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herman J. Reine in 1978, and James R. Feil in 1989; her daughter, Julia Ann Moritton in 1933; her sisters, Mamie Marbery and Maryann Clar; and her brother, Harrison Rowland. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or Hospice of Ukiah.

"Mamie 'Boots' Marbury, 86, died Saturday in a local hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Marbury was born in Mt. Ida, Ark., and had resided in Vallejo for 55 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 315 Vallejo; Vallejo Elks Lodge No. 559; Neighbors of Woodcraft; Vallejo Rose Society; and the First Christian Church of Vallejo. She was also an active member and honorary life member of Steffan Manor PTA. She enjoyed growing roses, gardening and did volunteer work for the Irwin Memorial Blood Bank. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Marbury, a brother and a sister. Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn (John) Quint of American Canyon; two sons, Mickey Sanders and David, both of Vallejo; a sister, Mida Feil of Ukiah; two brothers, Cecil Rowland of Folsom and Dan Rowland of Benicia; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home. Burial follows in the Sunrise Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 203 Willow St., Wuite 201, San Francisco 94109.
