General Notes:
In 1753 William Weatherby died, and Anne was one of the executors along Edward Weatherby. On May 29, 1754, an account was given by Anne. Anne made her will on December 29, 1772 and it was proved February 6, 1775. The following is a copy of that will.
In the name of God amen. I Anne Weatherby being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind and memory and knowing the certainty of death and the uncertainty, when thanks be to God for it, I do make this last will and testament revoking and making all other wills and testaments by me formerly made and declaring this only to be my last will and testament. Item, after my funeral charges and all my other just debts are paid I give to my eldest son Jonathan Rumford one shilling.. Item, I give to my daughter Rachel Thomas one shilling. Item, I give unto my second son Job Rumford one shilling to be paid by my executor hereof hereafter named. Item, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Hannah Avis, the wife of George Avis, the residue of my whole estate both real and personal to her-her heirs and assigns forever and I do make my son George Avis my sole executor to see this my last will and testament performed as above expressed in witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this twenty ninth day of December one thousand seven hundred and seventy two.
