ANDERSON, SMOOT
According to Ann Melugin Williams, (query above) Elizabeth
"Smoot" was the wife of James Anderson (James, son of Isaac Anderson).
This from a family record. Both James and Elizabeth died in 1846, leaving
a large family including a son Daniel Smoot Anderson. They lived very
close to the other Anderson and Smoot families along the Barren Fork
River near Old Well Rd. and Old Shelbyville Rd. Relationship of Elizabeth
to Thomas, William and Daniel Smoot is sought.
Looking for the whereabouts of an old Anderson Family Bible, said
to have been in the hands of Anderson descendent, a woman with the
surname Cooper, about 1970.
