William McLoney, died 10 Sep 1912.  Born 7 April 1827  and was the son of
John and Sarah Ann McLoney.  Married Mary Ellen  Fightmaster, 10 Sep 1868.  
Survived by wife, son and three daughters:  George McLoney, Latonia; Mrs.
Bertha Courtney, Georgetown; Mrs.  Sallie  Fields and Mrs. Robert Renaker of Harrison Co.

James Edward Fightmaster, aged 60 died at his home neaer Connersville, Sunday of lung trouble.  Buried at Battle Grove.   He was son of Wm. and Mary Jane Fightmaster and was born near Hinton.  He married Miss Emily Conrad, about 32 years ago and the union was blessed with six children, four of whom survive, namely, Elmer Fightmaster, Earl and Orra Mae Fightmaster and Mrs. Frank Johnston of Mt. Auburn, OH.  He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Wm. McLoney, Wm. and Joe B. Fightmaster.

According to Jamcos, the Fightmaster Family came from Maryland to
Kentucky in 1795-1805. Between 1850-1900, some Fightmasters decided to
shorten their name to Fight. James Edward decided to do this.
