Michael Bancroft was born in 1805 at
<-- Hoyle House in Oakworth, His parents
were Joseph and Ellen (Bradley) Bancroft.


In 1829, Michael married Ann Shackleton
who lived around the corner at Dock Royd -->
Ann was born in 1807 at Well Head, 
Oldfield
