Durham, on 25 October 1902.^6,7 The marriage of James Herdman and Hannah Wilson was registered at Lanchester Registration District, Co. Durham, in the quarter ending December 1902. Carl Alexander Herdman died on 20 August 2003 at Willowburn Hospice, Lanchester, Co. Durham.² Carl's obituary was in Evening Chronicle, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, on 22 August 2003.
