Published in the Tyler Morning Telegraph from 6/15/2008 - 6/16/2008.CORRECTION NOTES:
1. The following sentence was expanded: “She was an avid quilter for several church organizations and specialized in making quilts for babies born with AIDS with the ABC Quilters Guild.”
2. The actual birth date for Mattie Dock Bott nee Coulter was July 22, 1914. However, the Social Security Administration has the birth date as July 19, 1914. Therefore all legal documents, including the death certificate, must have July 19, 1914.
3. The following sentence: “Mattie lived in Tyler most of her life and moved to Houston to be near her sons for the past eight years.” This should have said six years and not eight years. Mattie Dock Coulter Bott entered Atria Assisted Living in Houston on January 20, 2002.
