Matthew Truebloood and Peninah came to Iowa in 1850.
William Draper Trueblood came with them to Salem, Iowa.
Matthew and his first wife, Martha (Draper) Trueblood are his parents.
Martha died when William was ten weeks old.
William's son is Charles Trueblood who is Lois's father.
