ABNER and CATHERINE "BURNETT" MARK FAMILY

The Abner Mark family left Ohio and came to Iowa in the fall of 1854.

Their son Aaron stayed at Attica, Iowa and was a school teacher.

He died there in 1856. He was twenty years old.

Sinia's daughter Sibbie lacked two weeks of being 110 when she died.

Sibbie was Richard's grandmother.

The twins Libbie and Sibbie weighted together ca five lb. when born.

Their father died when they were two years old.

Their mother wove rugs and took in laundry to help make ends meet.
