All stone pictures from south side (old part)
Some of the below are very hard
to read. It looks like the Saint stones at sometime were either
cleaned or had shaving cream used to be able to read the writing.
Over time the chemicals used will weather into the stone and pretty
much destroy the lettering. Best to leave stones alone and use only
chalk to try to read as it will wash off with the first rain and is a
natural substance. Please do not carve into the stone as you may
think you have the right date and alter the date
unknowingly.
