Green Mound Cemetery

On Merrmac Road west of Trenton ca 1 1/2 miles

and in section 4 of Trenton Township.

The church is located on the north side of the road

and the cemetery on the south side of the road.

First found burial was in 1840.

Green Mound Church begun 1847, this church building built in 1901.

The cemetery gate is across the road and the cemetery is on a ridge/mound between two ravines.

The new gate that was dedicated last year.

Just inside the gate to the east.

Toward the middle of the west side of the cemetery there are broken, piled and buried stones.
