Oakwood Cemetery gate.

In Oakwood, the city cemetery of Parsons, Kansas.   Edith M. Lyle, daughter of Samuel C. and Serena I. (Bolton) Lyle, was born 15 January 1878 in Meigs County, Ohio. She moved to Ponca City, Oklahoma Territory, in 1902 and there married another native of Meigs, (John) Wesley Graham. She was soon widowed, but in 1904 she married James F. Halliday of Parsons, Kansas, where they then resided. Edith died 10 September 1957 and is buried between her husband and daughter in block 10, lot 63.
