Two daughters of Charles and Sarah Lyle appear in the following deeds. They are Hannah E. Wright (1833-1902) and Mary Susan Turner (1837/8-1867/8)

Daniel Threlkels        ||   
                        ||   Know all men by these presents that 
we Lewis G. Turner and Mary Susan Turner of Wa-
pello County State of Iowa in consideration of sum of
seven hundred dollars in hand paid by Daniel Threlkels
of Davis County State of Iowa do hereby sell and convey
unto the said Daniel Threlkels the following described Premises
situated in the County of Wapello State of Iowa to wit
The N.W. quat of the N.E. quarter Sec. 26 Township (72)
Range 13 Containing 40 acres. Also the West half  of
the West half  of the N.E. quarter of the South east quar
-ter of Section 27 Township 72 Range 13 Containing 20 acres
and we do hereby covenant with the said Daniel Threl=
kels that we are lawfully seized of said premises, that they
are free from incumbrance, that we have good right
and lawful authority to sell the same, and we do here
covenant to warrant and defend the said premises against
the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. And the
said Mary Susan Turner hereby relinquishes her right
of dower in and to the above described premises
In witness whereof we hereunto set our hands this
30th day of January A.D. 1863

Wapello County } I do hereby certify that before me a notary
                 Public within and for said County personally
appeared the above named Lewis G Turner and Mary S. Turner

and who acknowledged the execution of the same to be their
voluntary act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned

of seven Hundred Dollars we Samuel M. Wright
and Hannah E. Wright hereby convey to Lewis G. Tur-
ner & Mary S. Turner so much of the east half
of the North east quarter of Section No Sixteen 16
Township No Seventy one (71) North, of range Twelve
(12) West as lies south of the road leading from
Ashland to Iowavill except about two &  acres
Out of the North west corner which was Deeded
For a graveyard containing seventy two Acres more
Or less.[*]    And warrant the title thereto against
All claims or persons whomsoever
            Witness our hands this 3rd day of February
