This indenture made the twenty sixth day of March in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and forty. Between Francis Wayne Lyle and Elizabeth his wife
of Elizabeth Township Allegheny County, Pennsylvania of the one part and Moses Lake
of the same place of the other part, Witnessth that the said party of the first
part, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and ten Dollars, Lawful
money of the Unites States to them in hand paid by the said party of the second
part, at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, Have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, released and confirmed and by
these presents, do grant, bargain, sell, alien, release, acquit and confirm unto the
said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns, All the right, title,
interest and claim of them the said party of the first part, of, in and to A certain
tract of land in the township aforesaid, containing about fifty six acres, (late the
property of James Lyle dec'd. who was father of Francis W. Lyle the grantor in this
present Indenture) and adjoining land of Andrew Boyd, John Boyd, Francis McClure &
James Reynolds. The interest of the said party of first part being one undivided
seventh part of the said described lot of land. Together with all and singular, all
the right, title, interest, claim and demand of the said party of the first part in
law, equity or otherwise, of, in, and to the same. To have and to hold unto the said
party of the second part, the undivided seventh part of the Lot aforesaid with the
appurtenances thereto belonging, unto the said party of the second part, to the only
proper use, benefit and behavf of the said party of the second part and his heirs
and assigns forever. And the said party of the first part do for themselves, their
heirs, executors and administrators, covenant, promis and agree to and with the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns the property hereby conveyed forever
to warrant and defend from all persons claiming or to claim by through or under them
or their heirs or in any lawful way whatever. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto
set our hands and seals the date above written.

Rec^d the day of the date of the foregoing of Moses Lake on hundred and ten dollars
in full of the consideration money therein mentioned.

Personally appeared before me a Justice of the Peace in and
for said County Francis Wayne Lyle and Elizabeth his wife, the grantors in the
foregoing Indenture and acknowledged the same to be their act and deed for the
purposes therein mentioned. She the said Elizabeth being of full age and separate
and apart form her said husband by me examined & the contents of this Indenture made
known unto her, she did declare that she did voluntarily and of her own free will
and accord sign and as her act and deed deliver the same without any coercion or
compulsion of her said husband.
