"22 November 1547
John Fullston the elder of Iklyngton in the Countie of Cambridge, ploughwryght...
I will & bequeth unto John Fulston myn eldest sonne all my plough tymber and all my working tooles for the same ocupacion, three roods and a half roode of Saffron grownde ie 1 and ½ of twelvemonth sett and a roode of 2 yere sett.
To same John a red cow with a whiteface & a young grey horse 2 hogges & 2 flytches of bacon.
To John Fulston my youngest sonne 3 half roods of saffron grownd ie. 1 half roods of twelvemonth sett & 1 rood of 2 yere sett.
To same John, a cow, 3 horses with their harness, carte & all things belonging, 2 hogges, 6 flytches of bacon, cubbord, 2 Tables withe backe boorde in the hall & all my fyerwoodde.
To Alice Goodson my dowghter 20 quarters barley, 2 quarters rye ie. 10 q. barley, 1 of rye out of croppe now in the bearne & other 10 q. barley & 1 q. rye (from) the next croppe by my saide 2 sonnes.
To Johane Whytebye my dowghter 15 q. barley, 1 q. of wheate owte of my croppe now in the bearne, 8q. barley, 1q. wheate on the Whitsundey next & other 7q. of barley (from) next croppe.
It yt happen Alice dye before the tyme appoynted.....then such not delivered to remayne with my sd 2 sonnes.
To Thomas Adams 3 q. of barley owte of my croppe in the bearne and one old hutche.
To Isabel Whytyng my servant 1 q. of malte after my decease.
To Jane Fulstone the eldest dowghter of John Fulston my youngest sonne one poolde ewe. Also all my croppe of corne nowe sowen and to be sowen this season, all my sheep, all my pulleyn, all my howsehold stuff and all other my goodes, moveables, corne & croppe in my bearne before not bequeathed...to my 2 sonnes equally devided betwixt them.
Exors: Robert Swanne younger & sd John Fulston my youngest son (& to have each) 6/8d. Witnesses: Robert Swanne senior, Henry Pepper, Stephen Whytebye, William Pettwyth.
Proved 3 March 1547/8."
Transcription of the will sent to me by Chris. It veyr helpfully gives plenty of family information but wife assumed dead as no mention is made of her. Will wirtten 22 Nov1547, proved 3 Mar 1547.
