Andrew Alfred MORRISON
Andrew was a graduate of Knoxville College in Tennessee and spent his active careet as a Presbyterian preacher. He did pastoral and missionary work in Indiana and Ohio, and in 1860 came to Kansas. He was the first presbyterian minister to heol services in Salina. Andrew married Nancy C. BEATY, daughter of Hugh BEATY and Margaret SMITH, on 15 Oct 1835 in Dearborn County, Indiana. (Nancy C. BEATY was born on 5 Jul 1812 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, died on 20 Mar 1864 in Salina, Saline Co., Kansas and was buried in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, Saline Co., Kansas.) Andrew next married Mary A. HUBER on 17 Feb 1877 in Salina, Saline Co., Kansas. (Mary A. HUBER was born in 1811 in New York, died in Mar 1931 in Salina, Saline Co., Kansas and was buried on 14 Mar 1931 in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, Saline Co., Kansas.) |
