12 (Speculation on various situations. Just theory, NOT fact, NOT published other than in this record.), Speculation. It now appears - from data received in April, 2002, that the William P. Moss who married Nancy Nolner is NOT the same William P. Moss who married Elizabeth Montgomery. For the moment I'm leaving this record attached until I have a chance to work more on this line and fill in some details.

But the William Moss/Nancy Nolner lines appear to be thoroughly worked up, and the only way that Elizabeth Montgomery could fit into that scene would be if she and William were never married - always a possibility - but simply had an affair.

Interesting coincidences occur between the two lines, but speculating on those brought out information from the documented lines that suggest strongly that the speculation is wrong. So for now, take this as NOT BEING A TRUE RECORD. -jcl. Pure speculation/guessing... Don't take it too seriously... :>)

our research I believe intersects. The record of Henry's second
marriage is in Laurel Co., KY and shows that on Aug. 26, 1852 he married
Mrs. Louisa Freeman, who was born in Knox Co., KY. From the censuses I
get an approximate birth year of 1812 for Louisa. Henry and Louisa had
just one known child, and on the birth record in Laurel Co., the parents
are listed as Henry Wiser and Louisa Catching. I see on your page that
James Freeman and Louisa Catching are two of your ancestors. I'm
guessing that your Louisa Catching Freeman is the lady who married the
Henry Wiser I'm researching. I loose track of Henry and Louisa in
Laurel Co., and I'm wondering if they moved on somewhere else, perhaps
to where your line migrated. Any comments? Henry Wiser had five known
children by his first marriage, only one of whom I find remaining in the
Laurel Co. area (Pulaski Co.). -snip-.

103 (Camden, Ouachita, Arkansas, USA), June 7, 2000 - Page 2. Gerald O. Merritt, 74, of Camden, died Tuesday, June 6, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Camden and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his daughter, Toni Murray of Allen, Texas; a brother, Burel Merritt of Camden; a sister, Vesta Grevillus of Memphis, Tenn; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Liberty Cemetery at Troy. The Rev. Don Phillips will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., today at Proctor Funeral Home.
