ARNOLD YOUNG
1914-1963
  
Arnold Young, 49, died suddenly at his home at Thealka Tuesday,
December 10. The son of the late Williams and Florence Heftner
Young, he was born in this county July 20, 1914, and had been a
lifelong resident of the Thealka community.
  
A World War II veterans and a member of the Thealka Freewill
Baptist Church, he was employed as a painter and plumber.
  
Surviving are his wife, Mary Burton Young; two daughters Rebecca
and Rachel Young both at home; a brother Frank Young, Lowmansville;
three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Mollette and Mrs. Beulah Bowens both of
Lowmansville, Mrs. Anise Daniel, Huntington, W. Va.
  
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at the Thealka Freewill
Baptist Church with Don Fraley and Irvin Castle is officiating
ministers.
  
Burial will be in the family cemetery at Thealka.
