ASHLEY S. WELLS
1915-1986
Ashley S. Wells, 70, died January 26 in Nim Henson Generic Rest
Home in Jackson, KY following an extended illness.
Mr. Wells was born May 25, 1915, in Johnson County, the son of H.
B. and CYNTHIA COLLINS WELLS.
He was a retired coal miner, a member of the Church of Christ and
a veteran of World War II.
His wife, Reba Blair Wells preceded him in death.
Surviving are a brother and sister, Joe D. Wells and Mrs. Maxie
Ramey, both of Van Lear, and one grandchild.
Funeral services wil be hel today, Wednesday, January 29, at 1:00
p.m. in Daniels Creek Church of Christ with Jerry Scott
officiating.
Burial will be in Wells Cemetery at Van Lear with Paintsville
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
