Miriam Webb Rites Held at First Christian
 
Funeral services were conducted at the First Christian Church in this city at 10:30 a.m., Friday for Mrs. Miriam Webb, 58, well-known
resident of this city, who died at her home on Main Street at 10:00
p.m., Tuesday following an extended illness.
 
A lifelong resident of this city, she was born October 22, 1901, the
daughter of the late Fred and Ida Mahan Roberts.
 
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
 
Survivors include her husband, Melvin Webb; one daughter, Mrs. Mettalea Holbrook, Kenton, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Della Prior, Baltimore, Md.
 
Services were conducted by the Rev. S. C. Honeycutt, with nephews acting as pallbearers.
 
Burial was in the Clubhouse Cemetery at Van Lear.
