ARTHUR WEBB
1926-1984
Arthur Webb, age 58, died at his home in Van Lear, October 17,
1984 following an extended illness.
Born February 5, 1926 in Johnson County, he was the son of the
late William and Bertha Clark Webb. He was a retired coal miner.
Mr. Webb is survived by his wife, Agnes Tibbs Webb; three sons,
Ricky Dean, David Keith and William Arthur Webb, all of Van Lear;
a daughter, Sandra Lynn DeLong, Van Lear; two brothers, Kelly
Webb, Prestonsburg, Chester Webb, Van Lear; three sisters, Irene
McKenzie, Auxier, Bernice Austin, Hager Hill, and Elsie Ramey, Van
Lear.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 20, in the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Clifford Austin officiating.
Burial was made in the family cemetery, at Van Lear, under the
direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
